The National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2022 examination. NEET UG 2022 will be held on Sunday, July 17. The National Testing Agency, NTA, released the NEET UG Answer Key 2022 on August 31, 2022, for the students who appeared for the medical exam on neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates must note that the NEET UG Answer Key 2022 objection window will close today (September 2 2022) as per the official notice released by the NTA. Candidates can check the answer key, and if they wish to raise objections can do it by 11.50 pm today.

Procedure for Challenge of Answer Key

1. Please go to the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/
2. Click ‘Apply for Answer Key Challenge (s).’

4. Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter Security Pin as displayed, and Submit.

10. You will see a screen displaying your challenges.
11. Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’.
12. Select Mode of Payment and Pay a processing fee @ ₹ 200/- for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm.
13. After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt.

Procedure for Challenge of OMR Answer Sheet Grading and Recorded Responses

  • Please go to the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/
  • Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter your Security Pin as displayed, and Submit.
  • Select the “OMR Challenge” in the left pane.
  • Click on the OMR Challenge Link.
  • You will see the following Questions are in sequential order:

  • If you wish to challenge this option, you may use the Options given in the ‘Candidate’s Claim’ column.
  • After clicking your desired option, for Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology for NEET (UG) – 2022, scroll down, ‘Submit’, and move to the next screen.
  • You will see a screen displaying your challenges.

How to Apply to NEET UG 2022?

Counselling for 15% All India Quota

  • The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, will hold the Counselling for 15% of All India Quota Seats.
  • All deemed central state universities will participate in Online Counselling.
  • Seats of ESIC and AFMC, BHU & AMU will also be filled in this Counselling.
  • Candidates will apply for 15% All India Quota seats as per the directions of DGHS, and Counselling will be stopped soon as the seats are filled.
  • Through this Counselling, candidates can enrol in any of India’s medical colleges.
  • Those candidates who participate in All India Counselling can also join in State Counselling of their respective states.

NEET UG 2022 Some Changes

These are some changes the authority will implement for NEET-UG 2022 entrance exam:

The upper age limit removedNMC has scrapped the upper age limit for NEET 2022 aspirants. Previously the upper age limit for unreserved category candidates was 25 years, and that of reserved candidates was 30 years.
Application form of NEET 2022 confirmation page on DigilockerThe confirmation page of NEET-UG 2022 will soon be available on Digilocker. It can be accessed from the Digilocker app and website digilocker.gov.in. Students have to sign up and use the Digilocker application.
Changes in the exam pattern of NEET-UG 2022They are expected to be conducted with a new exam pattern this year. The paper is predicted to be separated into two sections comprising 35 compulsory questions in the first section and 15 questions in the second section, out of which candidates have to attempt any 10, and all the questions will have multiple choice.
Medical Colleges Fees StructureSame fees on 50% seats of Private colleges: The government has taken another big decision according to which private colleges will have to charge 50% of their seats according to the government fee structure. NEET UG 2022 Important Instruction for Candidates

  • Candidates can apply for NEET (UG) – 2022 through the “Online” mode only through the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/
  • The Online Application Form submission may be made by accessing the NTA website, and the Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
  • Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
  • Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
  • Candidates must ensure that their e-mail address and Mobile Number are provided online.
