Govt. Autonomous Ashtang Ayurved College Indore is a prestigious institution dedicated to Ayurvedic education. It was established in 1921 by Param Pujya Swami Dwaraka Duttaji Maharaj under the Brahma Charya Ashram Trust. Initially, the trust managed Ayurvedic courses independently. In 1964, the course was affiliated with Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore and later in 1972, the Madhya Pradesh Government took over the institution, renaming it Govt. Ashtang Ayurved College.
