National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA) Jaipur Deemed to be University (De novo) is a leading government college for Ayurveda in Rajasthan. It is also known as NIA Jaipur. The institute is associated with Rajasthan Ayurved Vishwavidyalaya in Jodhpur and approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicines. NIA evolved into Rajakiya Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya in 1946 and was upgraded to NIA in 1976 as the first National Institute for Ayurveda Education and Research.
