SRM Institute of Science and Technology Kattankulathur, or SRM University, is a coeducational, autonomous university established in 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, near Chennai. SRM University offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. The registration process begins in September every year, and admission is made based on different entrance tests conducted by the university. SRM University PG Courses Admission Process
| MBA Courses | For admission to medical courses, applicants should have a valid scorecard of NEET PG. Candidates must clear the SRMJEEH for other medical programs for PG courses. |
| M.Arch | Admission to the Master of Architecture course is based on fulfilling the minimum marks requirement in the qualifying examination. |
| M.Tech | Candidates should have a valid scorecard of SRMJEEE (PG), or a Valid score in GATE & TANCET will be considered. In addition to the above, for Automotive Hybrid Systems Engineering, work experience in a related area is preferred. |
| Medical Courses | Admission to the Master of Architecture course is based on fulfilling the minimum marks requirement in the qualifying examination. |
SRM University PhD Courses Admission Process
- The eligible candidates are invited for an entrance examination at the respective campuses of SRMIST. The entrance will be either the CBT / Paper-pencil. The syllabus for the Entrance Test shall consist of 50% of research methodology, and 50% shall be subject-specific.
- The entrance examination will include a presentation on the proposed research area and technical-cum-personal interview. The Department Research Coordination Committee (DRCC) will assess the presentation.
