SRM Institute of Science and Technology Kattankulathur, popularly known as SRM University, is a coeducational, autonomous university established in 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, near Chennai. SRM University offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. The registration process begins in September every year, and admission is made based on different entrance tests conducted by the university. For Engineering Courses

Entrance Exam	Admission to B.Tech Programs candidates must clear the SRMJEEE (UG) entrance exam, which the university conducts. To fill out the online application form, Click Here.
Nationality	All the Resident Indian, Non-Resident Indian (NRI) holders of PIO or OCI cards issued by the Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE (UG).
Age Limit	The applicants must have attained the age of 17 years as of 31st December.
Qualification	(i) Minimum 55 % aggregate in PCM. (ii) Passed in the Higher Secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in the regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS. (iii) GCE A-level or International Baccalaureate(IB) diploma or IB certificate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects (equivalent to Advanced Placement level in each subject) in any International schools within India.

B. Des	Admission is made based on fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination.
B. Arch	For Admission to B.Arch courses, candidates should have a valid score card of NATA/JEE Main-Paper-II.
Medical Courses	Admission in Medical courses applicants should have a valid score card of NEET UG for UG courses, NEET PG for PG courses and other medical programs candidates have to clear the SRMJEEH.
Law Courses	Admission is made based on fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination and upon the BCI Norms.
Other UG Courses Admission	Admission in other courses (All Diploma, UG and PG Programs) candidates can visit https://www.srmist.edu.in/ to fill out the form. Admission is made to fulfil minimum marks in the qualifying examination.

SRM University PG Courses Admission Process

MBA Courses	Admission to MBA program candidates should clear the University exam SRMJEEM or a valid score in CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT / TANCET.
M.Arch	Admission to the Master of Architecture course is wholly based on fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination.
M.Tech	Candidates should have a valid scorecard of SRMJEEE (PG), or a Valid score in GATE & TANCET will be considered. In addition to the above, for Automotive Hybrid Systems Engineering-Work experience in a related area is preferred.
Medical Courses	Admission in Medical courses applicants should have a valid score card of NEET PG for PG course and other medical programs candidates have to clear the SRMJEEH.

SRM University PhD Courses Admission Process

• The eligible candidates are invited for an entrance examination at the respective campuses of SRMIST. The entrance will be either the CBT / Paper-pencil. The syllabus for the Entrance Test shall consist of 50% of research methodology, and 50% shall be subject-specific.
• The entrance examination will be followed by a presentation on the proposed research area and technical-cum-personal interview. The presentation will be assessed by the Department Research Coordination Committee (DRCC).
