Arunachal Pradesh UG NEET Counselling is the process through which students can get admission to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) courses in Arunachal Pradesh. This admission process is based on the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) scorecard. Only students who have qualified in the NEET exam can apply for and take part in the counselling process for Arunachal Pradesh.

AP NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for Arunachal Pradesh MBBS admission. It must be noted that ineligible candidates will not be considered for admission to Arunachal Pradesh NEET 2024.

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2024.
  • Academic Qualification: You must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as your main subjects.
  • Domicile Requirement: You must be a domicile candidate of Arunachal Pradesh. Here’s how you can qualify:
  • You have lived in Arunachal Pradesh for the past three years and completed class 12 in a school located in the state.
  • You are a child of an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) member, a Non-APST employee of the State/Central Government or Public Sector Units (PSUs) working in Arunachal Pradesh are eligible.
  • NEET 2024 Qualification: You need to pass the NEET 2024 exam and secure the required minimum cutoff for your category. Check the category-wise NEET-UG cutoff below.

AP NEET Counselling Registration Fees

Interested candidates desirous of taking part in the Online Counseling have to pay one-time Non-refundable registration fees as under:

Payment of Security Deposit

To avoid unnecessary blockages of seats till the last date of admission by some of the candidates, thereby causing loss of seats, a security deposit as detailed shall be levied:

The counselling will be conducted online and candidates who wish to participate must register on the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education’s official website, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.

Arunachal Pradesh UG NEET Counselling Procedure 2024

Counselling Process for PCB Group Seats for Arunachal Pradesh based on Merit In NEET 2024. This section lets you get detailed information about the Arunachal Pradesh UG NEET Counselling process step-by-step. Let’s have a look.

Step 1:

  • Visit www.apdhte.nic.in and fill out the Google form to know your inter-se merit position amongst the candidates of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • A temporary interest merit position based on the data submitted in the Google form shall be published in the official around 2024.
  • The final online registration link and other activities will be published in the same portal after receiving the official NEET 2024 result.

Step 2:

  • The Information Brochure for Counseling for PCB Group Courses 2024 shall be published on www.apdhte.nic.in. Download and read the same carefully. Note the schedule/important dates of different activities available therein. The program will contain the following, amongst others:
  • Start and last date of registration.
  • Publication of final inter-se merit position
  • Start and last date of Choice filling
  • Date of 1st round of Online Counselling
  • Start and end date of reporting at DHTE and Medical Education for nomination.
  • Date of 2ndround of Online Counselling
  • Start and end date of reporting at DHTE and Medical Education for nomination.
  • Register online and upload the required documents once the dates are finalised and published. After registration, keep track of your application for any query raised against the information of documents submitted online by logging into the same portal.
  • Keep visiting the Website for other information.
  • Provide your correct and working Mobile No. And e-mail address, as all communication, shall be made through these electronic means only.

How to Apply

  • Step 1: The candidate must visit the official website (https://dme.arunachalpradesh.gov.in/). 
  • Step 2: Click on the “New Registration” Option.
  • Step 3 (Personal Information): Candidates must fill in their personal information after successfully registering and activating the account. Make sure all the information is correct while filling out the application form.
  • Step 4: (Upload Photo and Signature): After entering the personal information, the candidate should upload their passport-size photograph of high contrast (The photo must be snapped with a placard containing the candidate’s name and snapping date) and full signature in Hindi and English (Not in capital letter) after duly scanning the same. After uploading the photo and signature, click the “Save & Continue” button.
  • Step 5: (Educational Information): After uploading the scanned photo and signature, the candidate should enter their educational information on the computer screen and click the “Save & Continue” button.
  • Step 6 (Payment of Counselling Fees): After filling in all the required details, candidates must proceed with the payment. The counselling Fees will not be refunded.
    There are the following two modes for payment of the Counselling Fees:
  • a. Payment by Bank Challan: If the candidate wants to Pay the Counselling Fees through Bank Challan, they should select the offline / NEFT Challan option from the Payment mode appearing on the computer screen and download the Challan and get the print and
    visiting any Bank up to the scheduled last date, the Counselling Fees may be paid through NEFT mode.
  • b. Online Payment: If the candidate wants to pay the Counselling Fees through Online mode, e.g. Credit Card / Debit Card / Net banking, they should select an online option from the payment mode appearing on the computer screen and “Make the Payment.”
    Should be made through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net banking. The candidate has to pay a processing charge in addition to the Counselling Fees for payment through the online mode.
  • c. Counselling Fees: Application & Counseling Fees is Rs. 3540/- (Including GST) plus Bank charges extra for OC/BC categories and Rs.2950/- (Including GST) plus Bank charges extra for SC/ST categories.

Documents Required

Candidates are advised to keep the following documents (in original along with 03 (Three) sets of self-attested photocopies) for submission whenever asked for:

  • 10th Certificate.
  • 12th Certificate.
  • 12th Mark Sheet.
  • NEET UG 2024 Admit Card.
  • NEET UG 2024 Result/Scorecard.
  • Category Certificate (if applicable).
  • Domicile Certificate (for Uttar Pradesh candidates only).
  • Certificate of Sub Category, If Applicable.
  • ID Proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter card etc.)
