Eligibility Criteria

• The application seekers should have qualified for the NEET Entrance Examination.
• Aspirants must have a domicile of Assam.
• The applying seekers must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English are the compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks; 40% marks are required for SC/ST category candidates, and 45% marks are for Physically Handicap candidates.
• Age Criteria: The candidate should have completed 17 years.
  The candidates born on or after 02-01-2005 are not eligible for
  admission into Ayush Courses (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BNYS/BHMS).

Assam Ayush NEET Counselling Process

• Assam Ayush NEET (BAMS) counselling will be conducted online in two rounds, and to be a part of the DME Assam Ayush NEET counselling, candidates must qualify for the Ayush NEET exam.
• The merit list will be published by the DME, Assam, with the selected applicants’ names based on their NEET scores.
• It would be best to keep in mind that only applicants with their names on the list will be eligible for the Assam Ayush NEET Counselling process.
• Eligible applicants must fill out and submit the Assam Ayush NEET application form before the deadline.
• To attend the Assam Ayush NEET counselling, the candidate must report to the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Six Miles, Khanapara, Guwahati-22. Candidates must bring the documents listed below, original and a self-attested copy, to the counselling venue.
