NOTE:-
1. For OBC/MOBC (NCL) Category candidate:-
i) They must submit the original Non-creamy layer (NCL) OBC/MOBC certificate issued by the D.C. of the concerned district.
ii) The annexure-III of the Application Form to be submitted by the OBC/MOBC category candidate must clearly show the candidate belongs to the Non-creamy layer.
In case of any controversy, the decision of the Selection Board shall be final and binding.
2. For Economically weaker section (EWS) Quota:- The EWS certificate issued by the concerned authority must be submitted at the time of counselling for the said category candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
- The application seekers should have qualified for the NEET Entrance Examination.
- Aspirants must have the domicile of Assam.
- The applying seekers must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English are the compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks; 40% marks are required for SC/ST category candidates, and 45% marks are for Physically Handicap candidates.
- Age Criteria: The candidate should have completed 17 years as of 31-12-2022.
The candidates born on or after 02-01-2005 are not eligible for
admission into Ayush Courses (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BNYS/BHMS).

Assam Ayush NEET Counselling Process
- Assam Ayush NEET (BAMS) 2022 counselling will be conducted in online mode in two rounds, and to be a part of the DME Assam Ayush NEET counselling, candidates must qualify Ayush NEET 2022 exam.
- The merit list will be published by the DME, Assam, with the selected applicants’ names based on their NEET 2022 scores.
- It would be best to keep in mind that only applicants with their names on the list will be eligible for the Assam Ayush NEET Counselling process.
- Eligible applicants must fill out and submit the Assam Ayush NEET application form 2022 before the late date.
- To attend the Assam Ayush NEET counselling, the candidate must report to the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Six miles, Khanapara, Guwahati-22. Candidates must bring the documents listed below, original and a self-attested copy, to the counselling venue.

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET 2022) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The NEET exam is the only gateway for admissions into different medical & dental UG courses offered by various government and private medical colleges. - Aspirants must obtain minimum qualifying marks in the NEET 2022 entrance examination to qualify for further admission.
