Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for HP NEET UG counselling 2025 is as follows:

| Children of Central Government Employees | Must be a bonafide Himachali student or the child of a bona fide Himachali, regardless of place of schooling. |
| Children of Regular Employees of HP Government/HPU/Autonomous Bodies | Must be the child of a regular employee of Himachal Pradesh Government/ H.P. Government Undertakings/Autonomous bodies wholly owned by Himachal Pradesh Government. |
| Management Quota Seats | Must be a qualified candidate for NEET-UG. There is no requirement to be a bonafide Himachali for this category. |

HP NEET UG Counselling 2025 Procedure
Admissions to Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges (State & Management Quota) in Himachal Pradesh will be done online through centralized counselling conducted by a committee headed by the Director of Medical Education & Research, H.P., Shimla. This committee includes college principals, senior officials from the Directorate, and the University’s Controller of Examinations (as Member Secretary).
Counselling Procedure:
- Candidates must register for HP NEET UG Counselling 2025 on the official website.
- A state merit list will be prepared based on NEET scores.
- Candidates included in the merit list will be called for counselling based on their rank.
- During the process, candidates must fill in their preferred courses and colleges.
- Seats will be allotted according to rank and preferences.
- Allotted candidates must report to the respective college with all required documents within the given time. Failing to do so will lead to cancellation of the seat.
Important Instructions:
- Candidates registered in Round 1 are eligible for Round 2.
- To participate in Round 2, candidates must pay token money as mentioned in the prospectus.
- If any document is found to be fake during verification, an FIR will be filed, and the candidate will be disqualified from the counselling process.
How to Apply
Follow these steps to fill out the HP NEET UG Counselling form on www.amruhp.ac.in:
- Step 1: Download and read the prospectus carefully to check eligibility.
- Step 2: Click “Apply for MBBS/BDS Counselling” on the homepage.
- Step 3: Fill in personal details, upload photo & signature, and enter your address.
- Step 4: Select your eligibility and category details carefully. Category once chosen cannot be changed.
- Step 5: Enter your qualification details.
- Step 6: Upload required documents and pay the application fee.
After completing all steps:
- Take a printout of the filled form and confirmation page.
- Submit the printout along with your Allotment Letter and documents at the allotted college.
Note: If the confirmation page is not generated, your form is not successfully submitted.
