JEE Main 2025, formerly All India Engineering Entrance Examination, is an all-India standardised computer-based test for admission to several technical ug programs in architecture and Planning and engineering across India. JEE Mains 2025 entrance examination has been entrusted to the NTA by the Government of India. The Ministry of Human Resource Development has established the National Testing Agency as an independent, autonomous, self-reliant, self-sustained premier testing organization. NTA will conduct the JEE Main session 1 will be conducted from January 22 to January 31,2025 and session 2 will be conducted from April 1 to April 8,2025. How to Fill Application Form

There is given below a detailed application procedure

  • Registration: Applicants must first fill JEE Mains 2025 registration form by filling in basic details like mobile number, name, email ID etc. And remember to note down the application number which will be used for future login.
  • Filling Application Form: In this step, applicants must fill detailed JEE Mains 2025 application form by giving education, parents, paper for appearing, category, exam centre, etc.
  • Documents Uploading process: You must upload scanned images of passport size, colour photograph and signature, and if you belong to reserved categories, you also need to upload category certificates.
  • Application Fee Payment: Applicants must pay application fees online after uploading documents. The application form will be automatically submitted after fee payment.
  • Take Printout: Applicants must print out the filled application form and keep it safe.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for JEE Mains is mentioned below. In this section you will get to know about age limit, subject required in 12th and minimum percentage required in 12th exams. Should have scored 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent.
B.Planning:-
Candidate should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics.
State of EligibilityThe state of eligibility means the state from which the candidate passed their 12th or equivalent exam, which is not their native place or residential place. For example, if the candidate lives in Uttar Pradesh but completed their 12th from Delhi, so the state of eligibility will also be Delhi.

Seat Allotment Process & Admission Procedure

Once the seat is allotted to the candidate after the counselling process, they must get admission to the preferred college by submitting the required documents and paying the fees. Below is the process for seat allotment and admission procedure.

  • Candidate will get admission according to the rank, category and availability of seat after the seat allotment.
  • Document verification is mandatory to complete the admission process, such as rank card, 12th-grade marksheet, identity proof, and category certificate (if applicable).
  • After seat allotment the candidate required to pay the fees to secure their admission.
  • Candidate who do not follow these steps will not get admission in the institute.

Multiple Choice Questions

In multiple choice questions, candidate will get questions that have multiple answer options. The candidate must choose one option which they think is correct and mark it. The marking scheme for this type of questions are mentioned below;

  1. Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)
  2. Any incorrect option marked: Minus one mark (-1)
  3. Unanswered/Marked for Review: No mark (0)
  4. If more than one option is found to be correct: Four marks (+4) will be given to only those who have marked any of the correct options
  5. If all options are found to be correct: Four marks (+4) will be given to all those who have attempted the question

According to Official instructions, NTA will declare the result of JEE Mains 2025. The result will release via online mode through the website. Students can check their results by entering their roll number and other required details. The scores secured by the candidates in JEE Mains 2025 exam will be available in the result.

JEE Mains Cutoff 2025

The Cutoff for the JEE Mains 2025 will be declared on the official website after the exam. Candidate should check the cutoff according to their category.

Counselling Procedure

The JEE Mains counselling process is conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). After the declaration of JEE Mains result and cutoff, the candidates who are eligible can apply for the counselling process on the official website. The counselling process is conducted online. After the counselling process completed, seats are allotted to the candidates.
