The college was named after King Edward VII and was set up by the British Raj, Lahore Medical School. Admission Procedure

To get admission at KEMU, you must qualify for the MDCAT (Medical & Dental College Admission Test).

Merit Calculation

Your final merit will be based on:

• Matric/SSC or equivalent- 10%
• F.Sc. Pre-Medical/12th or equivalent- 60%
• MDCAT- 50%

1. The Merit Calculation Formula is explained in detail with examples at the end of the Prospectus (Annexure-IV).
2. Marks will be rounded up to four decimal places.
3. No marks will be deducted for additional attempts in 12th (after 2 years of Matric).

Admissions are done online only. No hard copies are accepted. Follow these steps:

2. Go to the Online Admission Portal on the same website.
3. Create an account with your name, guardian’s name, email, and password.
4. Choose MBBS, BDS, or both, and select your seat categories.
5. Fill in personal details like name, domicile, DOB, contact information, etc.
6. Enter your 10th and 12th marks and academic details.
7. Add your MDCAT score or other test details.
8. Select your college preferences carefully.
9. Upload scanned documents.
10. Review and accept the declaration/undertaking.
11. Submit the application, then download and print the form & challan.
12. Pay the Rs. 2,000 processing fee (per program) at any Bank of Punjab branch or via online banking.

Once you’ve paid the fee, your application is complete.
