King Edwards Medical University Lahore[1] is a Pakistan-based public clinical college. Established in 1860, the college is named after King Edward VII and laid out by the British Raj, Lahore Medical School. After Pakistan’s freedom, King Edward Medical University turned into the central clinical school in the area and, in 2005, turned into a sanction to grant degrees by its own doing. It has since gone through extension and administers seven tertiary reference emergency clinics, including the Lady Willingdon Hospital.
