Meghalaya NEET UG Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the Meghalaya NEET Counselling 2025 is as follows:

Meghalaya NEET UG Counselling 2025
A candidate can visit the official North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences portal to register for NEET-UG 2025 Meghalaya State Counselling. Below we have mentioned the step-by-step process of Counselling.
- Candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling process as per the prepared merit list, and the list of the applicants called for Counselling will be displayed on the official website.
- Applicants must be present at the counselling venue as per the notified date. During the counselling procedure, applicants must fill in and lock in the choices/preferences of colleges.
- Seats will be allotted to the applicants based on the rank secured by the applicants and their preference choices.
- You must submit a seat allotment letter to the allotted institution before the last admission date.
How to Apply
- Step 1: The candidate must visit the official Website.
- Step 2: Click on the “New Registration” Option.
- Step 3 (Personal Information): Candidates must complete their personal information after registering and activating the account. Make sure all the information is correct while filling out the application form.
- Step 4 (Upload Photo and Signature): After entering the personal information, the candidate should upload their passport-size photograph of high contrast (The photo must be snapped with a placard containing the candidate’s name and snapping date) and full signature in Hindi and English (Not in capital letter) after duly scanning the same. After uploading the photo and signature, click the “Save & Continue” button.
- Step 5 (Educational Information): After uploading the scanned photo and signature, the candidate should enter their educational information on the computer screen and click the “Save & Continue” button.
- Step 6 (Payment of Counselling Fee): After filling in all the required details, candidates must pay the Counselling Fee. The counselling Fees will not be refunded.
There are the following two modes for payment of the Counselling Fee:
a. Payment by Bank Challan: If the candidate wants to Pay the Counselling Fee through Bank Challan, they should select the offline / NEFT Challan option from the Payment mode appearing on the computer screen and download the Challan and get the print and
visiting any Bank up to the scheduled last date, the Counselling Fee may be paid through NEFT mode.
b. Online Payment: If the candidate wants to pay the Counselling Fee through Online mode, e.g. Credit Card / Debit Card / Net banking, they should select an online option from the payment mode appearing on the computer screen and “Make the Payment.”

Document Required
The candidates shall be selected purely based on merit (rank) in NEET-UG-2025. The following documents are required along with the application.
- Domicile certificat
- NEET UG 2025 Admit Card
- NEET 2025 Score Card
- Age Proof Certificate
- Pass Certificate of Class X and Class XII
- Mark Sheet of Class XII
- EWS certificate issued by the competent authority (for those candidates applying under EWS Category)
- Passport photograph
Selection Procedure
- NEET UG 2025 Result is Mandatory
Application forms submitted without the NEET UG 2025 result sheet will not be accepted. - Selection Based on Merit
Candidates must be medically fit, eligible, and must have qualified NEET UG 2025 to be considered.
Selection will be based purely on merit through counselling.
SC/ST candidates must meet the prescribed cut-off marks and will be considered as per the State Reservation Policy. - Application Deadline
No applications will be accepted after the last date of submission. - Screening List
A list of candidates eligible for the next stage will be displayed on the official website.
The date of screening will be announced later. - Final Selection List
The final list of selected candidates and waiting lists (category-wise) will be displayed on:- The Notice Board of the Directorate of Health Services (MI), Meghalaya, Shillong
- Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, Tura
- The official government website
- Local newspapers (Shillong and Tura)
No individual notifications will be sent.
- Reporting & Bond Requirement
- Selected candidates must:
- Report in person to the Under Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, Meghalaya, Shillong.
- Submit a letter of acceptance.
- Sign a Surety Bond of ₹30,00,000 (for MBBS) committing to 5 years of rural service.
- Collect the nomination letter and follow further instructions.
- Other Requirements
- All selected candidates must follow the admission rules of the assigned medical college and pay the required fees on time.
- The responsibility to meet these conditions lies entirely with the student.
Note: If a selected candidate fails to report on time, their seat will be given to the next eligible candidate on the waiting list.
Bond Fees
All the selected candidates must execute a bond on a requisite stamp paper at the time of
admission. If any candidate leaves the course without completion shall have to pay/deposit bond money of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs) only.
