Puducherry NEET UG Counselling 2025
The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) is responsible for conducting NEET UG counselling in the Union Territory of Puducherry. Admissions to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and B.V.Sc.&A.H. courses are based on the NEET UG 2025 score.
Counselling Covers the Following Seats:
- Government Colleges (including 15% seats surrendered from All India Quota)
- Self-Sponsored Seats in Government Colleges
- Government Quota Seats in Private Colleges
- Management Quota in Private Colleges
- Minority Quota in Minority Private Colleges (e.g., Telugu/Christian)
- NRI Quota in Government & Private Colleges
- Foreign National Quota (in Government Colleges)
All India Counselling by MCC (DGHS):
Conducted separately by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for:
- 15% All India Quota seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges
- Central Institutions & Universities
- Deemed Universities
Admission & Allotment Process:
- Admissions are strictly based on the NEET 2025 Rank.
- A Merit List will be prepared as per NEET scores.
- Seat allotment depends on eligibility, reservation, seat category, and NEET rank.
- For B.V.Sc. & A.H. (NRI and Self-Supporting National Quota), allotment is also based on NEET scores.
Registration:
Candidates must visit the official CENTAC website www.centacpuducherry.in to register and participate in the counselling process.
NEET AIQ Quota 2025 Counselling Procedure
Counselling of NEET 2024 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps.
- Candidate Registration: Register on the official website.
- Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You must choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock in the selections in the online portal.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online based on available vacancies and candidates’ choices.
- Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round must either reject the assigned seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
- New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.
- Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to Round 1.
- Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to Round 1.
- Reporting to college (Round 2): Here, it is to be noted that those allotted seats in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders made by the Supreme Court of India.

How to Apply
- Visit www.centacpuducherry.in.
- Click on “Group II” for MBBS/BDS courses and start the application.
- Sign Up using your mobile number and email. Verify with OTP to create an account.
- Log in and fill in personal details and college preferences carefully.
- Upload documents:
- Photo (20–50 KB, JPEG)
- Class 10 & 12 mark sheets
- Residence/Domicile Certificate
- Reservation/Category certificates (if applicable)
- Pay counselling fee:
- ₹1,000 for General
- ₹500 for Reserved categories
- Take a printout of the application form and wait for the seat allotment result.
