Particular	Description
BAMS	Candidates seeking admission for the B.A.M.S. course must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained a minimum marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination with a minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% of marks for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/OPH (General &OBC) and 40% of marks for SC/ST/BT&OPH. The Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to10 +2 Higher Secondary Examination after 12 years of study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course of English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after the introduction of 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
Eligibility to appear in NEET	Eligibility for appearing in NEET (UG), as per related Regulations of NMC and DCI are as follows:- They have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of their access to the first year of the Undergraduate Medical Course. Age Limit: Candidates of General (UR)/General-EWS & Candidates of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD category must be born on or before 31.12.2004. The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years as of the examination date, with a relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC-NCL section and PwD Candidates. Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) intending to pursue Undergraduate Medical Courses in a foreign Medical/ Dental Institute also need to qualify for NEET (UG).

How to Apply

• Step I: The candidate must visit the https://www.centacpuducherry.in/. 
• Step 2: Forgetting admission into the BAMS, BHMS/BNYS, BUMS course in Puducherry, the candidates must submit an online application form on the official website of CENTAC Puducherry. After opening the official website, click on Group II, which means professional courses (BAMS, BHMS/BNYS, BUMS etc).
• Step 3: The dashboard page of MBBS admissions will open in a new tab, and the candidates must click on ‘Sign Up. Enter the ‘Registered Mobile Number, E-Mail and other details to create a login account on the official website. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to complete pre-registration and a login account will be created.
• Step 4: Log in with the credentials. The online application form will be displayed on the screen. Fill all the personal details carefully. Choosing college preference passport-sized photograph’s scanned image applications with inc scanned image sizing details is mandatory.
• Step 5: After filling the details, upload the scanned image of passport size photograph in JPEG format. The size of the scanned image should not be less than 20kb or more than 50kb. Upload the self-attested copies of the following documents: –

1. Nationality/ Domicile/ Residence Certificate
2. Class 10 & Class 12 Certificates/ Mark Sheets
3. Regional Reservation Certificate (if applicable)
4. Category Certificate (if applicable)

• Categories-1: Government Medical Colleges:
• The seats are available in BSMS/BAMS/BUMS/BHMS courses in Government Medical Colleges.
• Category-2: Government Quota Seats in Self- Financing Medical Colleges:

Allotments of seats to BSMS / BAMS / BHMS courses in Self Financing Medical Colleges will be
based on merit and following the Rule of Reservation and subject to availability.
Apportionment of seats between Government and Management of Self Financing Colleges of
Indian Systems of Medicine is as follows.

2. Reservation as applicable at the time of Counseling will be followed.
