Sanaa University Yemen[1] was established in 1970 as the first and primary university in the Yemen Arab Republic (North Yemen), now the Republic of Yemen. It is located in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, and is currently organized with 17 faculties. The university includes several accommodation buildings for staff and students and is partnered with the Kuwait University Hospital for medical students. The University has been wholly committed to providing and applying the highest standards of quality assurance and academic accreditation. It currently strives to get international accreditation from the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME Standards) for the Faculty of Medicine.
