Sri Sai Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital (SAMC), Aligarh, is a vision gradually taking concrete shape. In April 2002, Om Sri Sai Shiksha Samiti was created and registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. The founder transmitted his wealthy herbal estate and grove distributed over a large area of more than ten acres on the outskirts of Aligarh (G. T. Road) to the Society for executing an Ayurvedic College.
Sri Sai Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital was the first to obtain permanent affiliation to Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur in UP, to grant the degree program in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS). Sri Sai Ayurvedic Medical College is one of the respected private colleges in UP. It is an honour to Sri Sai Baba of Shirdi, who encouraged the founder Sri Rakesh Gupta to dedicate the institution to India’s pride and oldest science in medicine, Ayurveda.
