Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College Bangladesh is also known as Holy Family Medical College Bangladesh. It was founded in 1999-2000 by the inspiration of the daughter of the Father of the Nation & defender of democracy, Prime Minister Janonetri Sheikh Hasina. Holy Family Medical College Bangladesh is a project of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society and is run by a Governing Body duly formed by the representatives of the sponsor organization, the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, representatives from the University of Dhaka and the Government of Bangladesh.
Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College Bangladesh follows the MBBS course curriculum as laid down by Dhaka University and Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. The Government of Bangladesh regulates the criteria of qualification of students and the University of Dhaka conducts the professional examinations and certificates of MBBS degree are awarded by them.
