Lithuanian University of Health Sciences[1] is a clinical school in Kaunas, Lithuania. It was founded in 2010 by merging the Kaunas University of Medicine and the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy. The present-day Lithuanian University of Health Sciences is a combination of two establishments of advanced education, the Kaunas University of Medicine and the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy. Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Medical Academy has five faculties: faculty of medicine, faculty of odontology, faculty of pharmacy, faculty of nursing, and faculty of public health. The Lithuanian University of Health Sciences is the most significant foundation of advanced education for biomedical sciences in Lithuania, effectively incorporating studies, research, and clinical practice. LSMU comprises two central institutes: Medical Academy and Veterinary Academy.
