NEET PG 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for the exam or participate in the counselling process must check the eligibility criteria before using it. NBE releases NEET PG eligibility criteria along with the information brochure. NEET PG eligibility criteria have been summarised below:

  • Aspirants must possess an MBBS degree/provisional Pass Certificate, which is recognised as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council 2019 Act 1956.
  • They should also possess a permanent/ provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or the State Medical Council.
  • They must have completed the duration of 12 months of Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship.

NEET PG 2023 Application Process

NEET PG 2023 application process involves registration, filling up details in the application form, paying the exam fee, and uploading documents. The application process starts with registration. Only those candidates who register themselves on the official website of NBE, nbe.edu.in will be able to submit the application form for NEET-PG 2023 Counselling. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

After the successful NEET PG registration process, a login ID and password will be generated. NBE released the NEET PG application form 2023 in January Candidatesates had to upload scanned copies of photographs and signatures to complete the application processes. They had to pay a non-refundable fee to complete NEET PG applications in 2023. The deadline to submit the application form for the exam will be on 05 March 2023.

NEET PG 2023 Admit Card

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) release of the NEET PG Admit Card 2023 will be on February 27, 2023. Candidates who will appear in the NEET PG will be able to download the NEET PG 2023 Hall ticket on the official website, i.e. nbe.edu.in, and print it to carry it to the examination centre day. The NEET PG 2023 Counselling admit card will be released online. NBE issues admit cards to candidates who register successfully for the exam. Candidates will have to download NEET PG admit card 2023 from the official website. Candidates are advised to check all the information carefully after downloading the hall ticket from the official website of NBE.

Candidates must print a copy of the admit card and affix the latest passport-size photograph. The admit card should be preserved until the admission process gets over. Specifications of the picture are as under:

Photograph Specifications:-

  1. A photograph of a minimum of 35 mm x 45 mm with at least 75 per cent coverage of the face & head of the candidate
  2. A caption with the name of the aspirant along with the date of taking a photograph at the bottom of the photo
  3. The photograph should have been taken on a white /very light-coloured background.
  4. The photograph must be printed on high-quality paper with at least 600 dpi resolution.
  5. The colours must possess the natural appearance and skin tone
  6. The photograph must not have kinks, scratches, and stains
  7. Photographs with reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes should be avoided

  • On the homepage, click on the NEET 2023 PG tab and ‘Candidate Login.’
  • Enter your login details, as asked.
  • Your NEET PG Admit Card 2023 will be displayed on your screen.
  • Download and print a copy for future reference.

NBE Important Instruction for the NEET PG 2023 Admit Card

All applicants for NEET-PG 2023 are, at this moment, cautioned that:

  • NBEMS does not send any email or SMS to candidates regarding securing good marks/merit positions in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS. Candidates are advised not to be allured or misled by unscrupulous agents /touts making false and bogus claims.
  • NBEMS does not make any phone calls to any candidate or issue any communication regarding any unfair assistance during the exam in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS or any other such thing against the provisions of law.

NEET PG 2023 Admit Card NBE Guidelines

Candidates are advised to familiarise themselves with the location of the test centre and plan travel time accordingly. Candidates have to reach the test centres on or before the reporting time. Candidates may note that late entry to the examination premises is not permitted. NBEMS shall not be responsible for any delayed arrival of the candidate in reaching the centre due to any reason.

Candidates will NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY inside the test centre without verifying government-issued photo identification proof. Please refer Information bulletin and admit card for details of the documents required to be carried at the test centre.

Candidates will not be allowed to take prohibited items inside the examination centre. No arrangement will be made at the centres for keeping any articles/items belonging to the candidates. Please go through the information bulletin for NEET-PG 2023 to list such prohibited items.

Any candidate found guilty of having adopted any unfair means/misconduct during NEET-PG 2023 is penalised by the Examination Ethics Committee. Please refer Information Bulletin for NEET-PG 2023 for what is defined as the use of Unfair Means.

NEET PG 2023 Syllabus

NEET PG 2023 syllabus is based on the curriculum taught during the MBBS. The syllabus includes key topics of the three sections of the question paper, section A (clinical), Section B (pre-clinical), and Section C (para-clinical) subjects. These three sections contain questions from the topics such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic medicine, and Social and Preventive medicine.

NEET PG 2023 Pattern

Candidates need to know the NEET PG 2023 exam pattern as it helps candidates prepare. The exam pattern for NEET PG 2023 comprises details about the test paper, the mode, medium, number of the question paper, duration of time, and the marking scheme. NEET PG 2023 will be held online mode. The question paper will have 200 multiple-choice questions, and candidates will be given 3.5 hours to answer them.
