Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling Eligibility Criteria
- The applying seekers should have qualified for the NEET Entrance Examination.
- Aspirants must have the domicile of Andhra Pradesh.
- The applicants must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology. English is a compulsory subject with a minimum of 50% marks. 40% marks are required for SC/ST category candidates, and 45% marks are needed for Physically Handicap candidates.
- Age Criteria: The candidate should have completed 17 years as of 31-12-2024.
The candidates born on or after 02-01-2005 are not eligible for admission to MBBS or BDS Courses.

Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2024
Candidates can visit the official portal of Dr YSR University of Health Sciences to register for Andhra Pradesh State Counselling for MBBS & BDS. Below, we have mentioned the step-by-step process of counselling.
AP NEET-UG 2024 State Quota Counselling Process (Convenor Quota)
Step 1 – Login & Registration: To enter the online portal of AP NEET counselling, applicants can click on the link provided on this page when released. Click on the ‘web counselling’ option, after which applicants must enter their NEET rank, roll number and registration number of the application form.
Step 2 – Choice Filling Process: The online choice filling of Andhra Pradesh NEET counselling will look on the screen. A list of colleges will be available with the college, college code, place, courses, and district name.
Step 3 – Saving choices: After successfully selecting & Preference, fill in the details chosen and click on the ‘save’ button. The choices filled will be locked automatically after the scheduled time of AP counselling. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number, which must be entered in the space provided, then click on the ‘confirm’ button.
Apart from the Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling (Cornevour Quota), the Dr YSR University of Health Sciences also conducted the AP NEET counselling 2024 (management & NRI quota) for management quota seats.
How to Apply
- Step 1: The candidate must visit the official website (http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in/).
- Step 2: Click on the “New Registration” Option.
- Step 3 (Personal Information): After successfully registering and activating the account, candidates need to fill out their personal information. Make sure all the information is correct while filling out the application form.
- Step 4 (Upload Photo and Signature): After entering the personal information, the candidate should upload his / her passport-size photograph of high contrast (The photo must be snapped with a placard containing the candidate’s name and snapping date), and full signature in Hindi and English (Not in capital letter) after duly scanning the same. After uploading the photo and signature, click the “Save & Continue” button.
- Step 5 (Educational Information): After uploading the scanned photo and signature, the candidate should enter his / her educational information on the computer screen and click the “Save & Continue” button.
- Step 6 (Payment of Counselling Fee): After filling in all the required details, candidates must proceed with the payment. The counselling Fees will not be refunded.
There are the following two modes for payment of the Counselling Fee: - a. Payment by Bank Challan: If the candidate wants to Pay the Counselling Fee through Bank Challan, he/she should select the offline / NEFT Challan option from the Payment mode appearing on the computer screen and download the Challan and get the print and
visiting any Bank up to the scheduled last date, the Counselling Fee may be paid through NEFT mode. - b. Online Payment: If the candidate wants to pay the Counselling Fee Online mode, e.g. Credit Card / Debit Card / Net banking, he/she should select an online option from the payment mode appearing on the computer screen and “Make the Payment.”

Documents Required
Candidates who will be allotted a seat in Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling will be asked to report the following documents to complete the admission formalities.
- NEET 2024 admit card
- NEET 2024 scorecard
- Class 10 pass certificate/Date of birth certificate
- Class 12 or equivalent examination mark sheet
- Transfer Certificate issued from the last attended institute
- Pass certificate from Class 6 to Class 12
- Permanent caste certificate, if necessary
- Aadhaar Card
- Minority certificate, if applicable
- Candidates who have studied outside Andhra Pradesh are required to show the resident certificate stating that s/he is residing in the state for 10 years.
