The First Moscow State Medical University Russia[1] is the first and the oldest medical school in Russia, tracing its history from Moscow Imperial University’s medical faculty founded in 1758. The University was renamed after Russian physiologist Ivan Sechenov in 1955. It was known as I.M. Sechenov First Moscow Institute of Medicine until 1990. the University has grown into an academic, research and Resource Centre of Excellence in the Russian Healthcare System. Sechenov University is one of the Top Medical colleges in Russia. There are students from around 90 countries worldwide at the university. The biggest international students are Malaysia, China, Azerbaijan, Iran, India, Namibia, South Africa, etc.
