Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Criteria for Jammu & Kashmir NEET Counselling 2025 are as follows:
- NEET Qualification: Applicants must have cleared the NEET Entrance Examination.
- Domicile Requirement: Aspirants should be residents of Jammu & Kashmir.
- Educational Qualification: Completion of 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with minimum marks required General category: 50%, SC/ST category: 40%and Physically Handicapped candidates: 45%
- Age Requirement: Candidates should be at least 17 years old.

JK NEET UG Selection Procedure
- The Exam conducting authority will make the merit list of the selected candidates for admission after the NEET State Counselling.
- Admission seekers will be selected based on the rank they obtained and the choice they made during counselling.
- Admission Seekers must report to the allotted college for admission and all required documents.
- If any student fails to report to the allotted college in any circumstances within the given time, the seat of this candidate will be forfeited.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Only valid certificates issued by the competent authority before the last date of registration will be accepted. Under-process certificates will not be accepted.
- Candidates must provide a correct email ID and mobile number so they can receive important updates from the authorities.
- For safety, do not share your email password with anyone.
- The board will not be responsible for mistakes made by candidates during the registration process.
- After registration, the board will publish a Provisional UT Merit List (PUTML) of all eligible candidates. This list will be used during online counselling for seat allotment.
- Candidates who qualify but fail to register, upload documents, or submit complete documents will not be considered for seat allotment.
