Eligibility Criteria
In this section, the candidate will learn about the eligibility criteria that must follow during the Mizoram NEET PG Counselling 2024.
- The candidate Must be a citizen of India.
- Candidate Who has completed MBBS From an Institution Located in the state and is a bonafide resident of Mizoram. or
- A Candidate Who has completed MBBS from any institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and his/her parents hold a resident certificate it is mandatory to complete a compulsory Rotatory Residential internship on or before March 31, 2024.
- The candidate should be registered with the state Medical Council/National Medical Commission.
Important Command by MCC
MCC has conducted counselling for the following Institutions/Universities. Below are the Important guidelines released by the MCC for all the candidates who want to be a part of the NEET PG counselling 2024 procedure:
- 50% All India Quota seats of all states except J&K.
- 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions mentioned in Important Questions related to Scheme of Counselling duly uploaded on the MCC website.
- 100% seats of Deemed Universities.
- 50% AIQ P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons).
- All P.G. seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions(only Registration part).
- Central Institutes, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS & RML Hospital and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur (50% All India Quota seats and 50% seats of I.P University).
Mizoram NEET PG Counselling 2024
The counselling process for NEET PG 2024 in Mizoram is expected to start in the month of March or April 2024, and the exact dates will be announced by the Mizoram Directorate of Health Services (DHS) in due course.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to the NEET PG counselling process in Mizoram:
Step 1: Registration
Candidates who have qualified in the NEET PG exam must register themselves for the counselling process on the official website of the Mizoram DHS. The registration process usually starts in March or April, and the candidates must fill in their personal details, academic information and NEET PG score.
Step 2: Choice Filling
After registration, candidates must fill in their courses and college choices. The choices must be filled in order of preference, and candidates should choose the courses and colleges based on their rank and eligibility.
Step 3: Seat Allotment
Based on the choices filled in by the candidates and their rank, the Mizoram DHS will allot seats to the candidates. The seat allotment process will be done through a centralised counselling system, where the candidates will be allotted seats based on their merit and preferences.
Step 4: Reporting to the Allotted College
After the seat allotment process, candidates must report to the allotted college within the stipulated period, which will be mentioned in the counselling schedule. Candidates need to carry their original documents for verification and admission.
