Karnataka NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Here in this section, we are providing detailed information about Karnataka MBBS & BDS Counselling Eligibility Criteria; candidates are advised must read the complete eligibility criteria before applying to the Karnataka NEET Counselling. You can check the information like Qualifying entrance exam, educational qualification, Age criteria, and domicile & also, and you can narrow the NRI student’s eligibility criteria for Karnataka MBBS & BDS Counselling. Mere registration does not entitle a candidate to the allotment of a seat. They must fulfil the conditions of eligibility during document verification produced by the candidates:

  • The candidate who fulfils the eligibility conditions laid down in CET-2006 admission rules and has qualified in UGNEET-2022 but has not attended the documents earlier for verification of documents will have to register compulsorily and appear for verification with all the marks cards, relevant documents (with all the necessary documents/certificates) as per the schedule which will be notified on the KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in.
  • The educational qualifications/eligibility criteria prescribed by the Competent Authority in regulations/guidelines issued from time to time will be applicable in deciding the eligibility.
  • Eligibility/admissions/allotments made to and by the colleges shall be subject to approval by NMC/ DCI / Government / RGUHS / Concerned University / Apex Bodies / etc.

Children of Non-resident Indian or their Wards. (As per Hon’ble High Court in WP Nos.17999-18002/2017)
> As per the definition defined in The Karnataka Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Determination of Fee) Act, 2006 read with the Karnataka Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Determination of Fee) (Amendment) Act, 2017 and the Income Tax Act 1961 Section 115 C (e) & 6, i.e., “Non-Resident Indian” means an individual resident outside India who is a citizen of India or is a > Person of Indian Origin and includes Persons of Indian Origin and Overseas Citizens of India.
Foreign NationalsForeigners will have to produce the eligibility certificate issued by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, to KEA. For verification, they must produce the equivalence certificate the Association of Indian Universities, Delhi, issued. (AOI)

Karnataka NEET Counselling 2022

The counselling will be conducted online, and candidates who wish to participate in it need to register on the official website of KEA.

Karnataka NEET Counselling Process

Step 1 – Login & Registration: To enter Karnataka NEET counselling, applicants can click on the link provided on this page when released. Click on the ‘web counselling’ option, after which applicants must enter their NEET rank, roll number and registration number of the application form.

Step 2 – Choice filling Process: The online choice filling of Karnataka NEET counselling will look on the screen. A list of colleges will be available with the college, college code, place, courses, and district name. 

Step 3 – Saving choices: After successfully selecting & Preference, fill in the details and click on the ‘save’ button. The options filled will be locked automatically after the scheduled time of Karnataka counselling. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number, which must be entered in the space provided, then click on the ‘confirm’ button.

NEET 2022 Cutoff

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET 2022) was conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The NEET exam is the only gateway for admissions into different medical & dental UG courses offered by various government and private medical colleges. Candidate can submit their NEET Form only through online mode.

  • Aspirants must obtain minimum qualifying marks in the NEET 2022 entrance examination to qualify for further admission.
  • Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC must obtain marks equivalent to at least the 40th percentile to be considered for AIQ and state counselling processes.
  • Aspirants in the UR category must score equivalent to at least the 50th percentile.
